Tbilisi Botanical garden is one of the main green areas of the capital, which is located in the heart of the historical part of the city. It was founded on the site of the Royal gardens in 1845.

The Botanical garden has more than 3,500 species of plants. On an area of 97 hectares, including the Tsavkisitskali gorge, local and world flora is represented.
